Project Delivery Capability

Early Contractor Involvement

Bring practical construction input into a project early, while design, programme and scope decisions can still be improved.

Preconstruction

Get clear on the scope, boundaries, assumptions and constraints. Review drawings and specifications together, identify key interfaces and make sure the proposed methodology is buildable.

Early contractor involvement

Bring construction experience into the project while scope, methodology and programme decisions can still be improved. Livic can review buildability, sequence and practical options with the client and design team.

Methodology & programming

Link the physical construction sequence to approvals, procurement, access, specialist inputs and inspection points. The programme should reflect how the job will actually be built.

Site engineering

Keep set-out, drawing control, technical queries, inspections and records close to site. Engineering support should help the crew make sound decisions, not just create more paperwork.

Construction management

Coordinate people, plant, suppliers and subcontractors around a clear daily plan. Review constraints early and keep changes visible to the right people.

Subcontractor coordination

Agree the scope and interfaces, check capability and communicate the required controls. Specialist partners are brought in for defined work where the package needs them.

QHSE

Quality, health, safety and environmental controls are part of the construction plan. They need to be practical, understood and supported by the information available on site.

Stakeholders

Give clients, service owners and affected neighbours useful information early. Access changes, interruptions and the next stage of work should not come as a surprise.

Commercial awareness

Record decisions, changes and constraints as they happen. Clear scope and timely communication help the project team deal with cost and time implications properly.

Handover & close-out

Agree the deliverables early, collect the records as the job progresses and close out defects in a controlled way. Handover is planned from the start.

A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

Good questions.

Can Livic take responsibility for a complete civil package?

Yes. The agreed package can cover planning, resources, site delivery, engineering coordination, subcontractor interfaces, quality records and handover.

Can Livic work alongside a client-appointed designer?

Yes. Design responsibility and the process for technical queries, inspections and changes are agreed with the client and designer before construction.

When should we involve Livic?

Early enough to discuss access, sequencing, temporary works and delivery constraints. Initial drawings, a scope outline and the required timeframe are a useful starting point.
