Earthworks Contractors Auckland.
Bulk and detailed earthworks for Auckland infrastructure and civil projects. Planned excavation, material control, formation and reinstatement.
Let's talk about your projectTHE CIVIL SCOPE
Practical delivery. Connected disciplines.
Livic undertakes bulk and detailed earthworks with a strong focus on planning, accuracy and control around existing infrastructure.
Capable operators, well-maintained plant and appropriate engineering and survey support help us deliver earthworks safely and efficiently without losing sight of what comes next.

Controlled excavation with service locating, practical planning and clear communication around existing underground infrastructure.
Bulk earthworks
Coordinate the material balance, haul routes, stockpiles and exposed ground before excavation starts. The objective is a formation that supports the next activity, not simply a volume of material moved.
Detailed excavation
Work to the line, level and tolerances needed for services, structures and foundations. Allow for inspection, unsuitable ground and construction access before the next stage covers the work.
Cut & fill
Excavation and placement need to follow the design and specification. Material suitability, moisture, layer thickness and testing are considered with the project engineer.
Site preparation
Establish access, boundaries, service information and environmental controls. Strip, store or remove material in the right order so the work area stays manageable.
Working platforms
Plant access and working areas need an appropriate design or assessment for the intended loads and ground conditions. Livic coordinates the civil construction and the required specialist input.
Survey & engineering
Survey control, set-out, formation checks and as-built information connect earthworks to the design. Discrepancies should be raised while there is still time to address them.
Environmental controls
Plan the exposed area, water management, stockpiles and stabilisation. Controls are established, inspected and maintained in line with the project requirements.
Plant & operators
Match plant, attachments and operator capability to the access, material and task. Equipment choices are made for the work, not simply for what happens to be available.
A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS
Good questions.
Does Livic undertake both bulk and detailed earthworks?
Yes. The scope can include bulk material movement, site preparation and the more controlled excavation needed for services, foundations and structures.
Can earthworks be delivered as part of a wider civil package?
Yes. Earthworks can be coordinated with drainage, structures, concrete and reinstatement through one agreed delivery package.
Can excavated material always be reused on site?
Not automatically. Reuse depends on the design, material suitability, testing and any contamination or consent requirements. These need to be checked before the material plan is agreed.
