Let's talk about your project

Built around the work.
An existing service can change the whole construction sequence. Livic Civil treats service information as something to verify, communicate and keep current.
Controlled excavation brings locating, investigation, plant selection and asset-owner requirements into the same plan.
Plans are a starting point, not proof of what is underground. Livic Civil makes the risk visible before the work gets close, agrees the method with the right people and keeps the crew updated when the site tells us something different.
Access, exclusion zones, temporary support and the way plant moves through the site need to be considered alongside the service itself. We look ahead for the conditions that could change the job, rather than waiting for an unexpected asset to stop it.
That proactive approach protects people, programme and quality. The goal is not to work around a problem after the fact; it is to expose, understand and control it early, then complete the excavation once and leave clear information for the work that follows.
Start with the information
Review records, mark the work area and arrange the appropriate locating and investigation. Confirm the relevant permits and asset-owner conditions.
Match the method to the risk
Excavation methods, exclusion areas and specialist hydro excavation are selected for the particular service and conditions. Records alone do not prove exact depth or alignment.
Keep changes visible
Update the crew and project team when an asset is found somewhere unexpected. Record the location and resolve the design or method before working on assumptions.
A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS
Good questions.
Can Livic coordinate hydro excavation?
Specialist hydro excavation and locating can be coordinated where appropriate to the project. Responsibilities and safe methods are agreed for the asset involved.
Are service plans enough to excavate safely?
Plans are a starting point. Location, condition and relevant controls must be verified through the project's approved investigation and excavation process.
