THE CIVIL SCOPE

Built around the work.

Site engineering connects the drawing to the people building the work. Livic Civil keeps technical coordination close to the construction sequence.

The scope can include set-out coordination, drawing control, inspection planning, technical queries and the information needed for handover.

Small gaps in information become expensive when they reach the crew. Livic Civil keeps the current details, decisions and inspections connected to the next stage of work, so problems are dealt with while they are still simple to solve.

That means looking ahead at access, temporary works, interfaces and the next practical step—not just filing a query and hoping it reaches site in time. We use the information to spot issues early, get a clear answer and keep the construction sequence moving.

Good site engineering raises the bar on quality because the checks happen when they can still influence the work. Set-out, hold points, records and progressive handover are kept close to the job, helping the team build it right once and hand over information that reflects what was actually delivered.

As-built information

Technical coordination

Review the details, raise discrepancies and keep approved responses connected to the current drawings. A technical query is only useful when the answer reaches site.

Set-out & inspection interfaces

Coordinate survey input, check key dimensions and levels, and organise inspections at the right stages. Specialist survey and design responsibilities remain clearly assigned.

As-built information

Collect the agreed installation details while they can be verified. Close-out records should describe the finished work rather than simply repeat the original design.

A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

Good questions.

Does site engineering include independent professional design?

Not automatically. Independent structural, geotechnical or other professional design remains with the appropriately engaged specialist.

Can Livic work with a client's engineer and surveyor?

Yes. Roles, information flow, inspections and approval boundaries are agreed as part of the project setup.
