Built around the work.
Livic delivers the civil scope around water infrastructure, from excavation and foundations through to pipeline, storage and reinstatement interfaces.
Good delivery depends on joining up the civil works with specialist pipework, operational requirements and the agreed testing and handover process.
Pipelines & associated civil works
Coordinate access, service information, excavation and pipe installation requirements. Materials and connection details need to match the approved design.
Tanks & storage interfaces
Foundations, access, demolition, replacement, pipework and overflows need to be planned together. Specialist tank and plumbing work is clearly allocated within the package.
Commissioning interfaces
Agree the inspection, testing and commissioning responsibilities before construction. Any intervention on a live water network must follow the relevant owner's approved arrangements.
A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS
Good questions.
Can Livic coordinate tank replacement civil works?
Yes. The Army Bay scope included removal and replacement of two tanks, pipework and overflow interfaces, and reinstatement in restricted access.
Are all specialist water works self-performed?
Not necessarily. Specialist design, tank supply, plumbing, testing and network operations are allocated to suitably qualified parties as required by the project.
