Structures / CAPABILITY

Bridge & Structural Civil Works.

Foundations, abutment interfaces, retaining, drainage, concrete and enabling civil works associated with bridge and structural projects.

Let's talk about your project

THE CIVIL SCOPE

Built around the work.

Livic can discuss the civil and enabling scope around bridge and structural projects, including foundations, drainage, retaining and associated concrete work.

This capability is about a defined civil package. It is not a claim that Livic is a standalone specialist bridge-builder or bridge designer.

Define the civil boundary

Agree the enabling works, structural interfaces, access and temporary-works responsibilities. The scope should be clear about what belongs to the bridge specialist and what belongs to the civil contractor.

Coordinate design & delivery

Construction access, founding conditions, temporary stability and staging need to be considered with the appointed engineering and specialist delivery teams.

Records at the interface

Survey, inspections, approved changes and handover information need to follow the scope boundaries. The next contractor should know exactly what has been built and accepted.

A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

Good questions.

Does Livic undertake complete bridge superstructures?

No such standalone capability is claimed here. The page covers associated civil works, with specialist structural delivery agreed separately.

When should the enabling contractor be involved?

Early enough to review access, temporary works, the construction sequence and the handover points between packages.
